Sr. Business Planner / Change Management Coordinator to develop and implement business unit planning and deliver Change Management services for a Security implementation program within the public sector - 23169
Contract: 6 months to start till Apr 2025 (possible 1 year extension)
Hours: 37.5 per week
Location: N. York - hybrid (1-2x/week)
- Support the Program Manager and Security Program, responsible for developing and implementing annual business unit planning, policy, processes, procedures, project managing the development and implementation of strategic plans and strategic initiatives, and supporting strategy and performance reporting.
- Deliver a full range of change management services, and will ensure change management is a primary focus of all strategic initiatives across the organization to improve employee engagement, and ensure effective adoption to achieve business results/goals.
Must haves:
- 5+ years experience in a large public corporate environment in one or more of the following areas:
- IT business planning & road-mapping, training facilitation, performance measurement, strategic planning, creation and monitoring of accountability systems.
- Our client is looking for someone with experience in change management, business planning, some BA activities experience (develop documentation, develop presentations, gathering requirements), and communications.
- 3+ years in a change management role.
- 4+ years of organization-wide change management implementation.
- 2+ years’ experience in a public/private sector IT department.
Nice to haves:
- Certification in ITIL
- Prosci, CHRP, PMP and or related certifications
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
Education:
- Combination of post-secondary education in Human Resources or Bachelor of Education, Business Administration or related undergraduate degree (e.g. Commerce, Technology Management, Public Administration, etc.); or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis on change management.
