Our valued public sector client requires a Senior Project Manager to support, manage and oversee Real Property IT Fit-Up initiatives.


The IT Infrastructure group is responsible for the technology components for Real Property projects. This would include full building fit-ups, meeting rooms, conference rooms, training centers, offices etc.


Responsibilities:

  • Review technical designs of IT infrastructure for office buildings, service plans, project plans and artifacts.
  • Validate whether technical designs, service plans, project plans and artifacts are viable from technology, scope, schedule and cost perspectives.
  • Responsible for the development of project plans including the development of work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages and the development of project schedules.
  • Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies (RAID) and mitigation strategies.
  • Manage large scale complex IT infrastructure projects of office buildings involving but not limited to: Government of Canada networks, cabling, telephony, Wi-Fi, security, audio visual fit-up, decommissioning and commissioning, swing move.
  • Coordinate the work of internal and external teams including but not limited to: LAN op team, security team, videoconference team, external vendors, cable vendor, cellular vendor, video vendor, audio visual vendor. Liaise with construction team to monitor on-site progress.

  • Network and Infrastructure 2+ years
  • Telecommunications 2+ years
  • Department of National Defense (DND) or Shared Services Canada (SSC) 2+ years
  • Secret Clearance


Nice to Haves:

  • Real Property 2+ years
  • Bilingual (English and French)
