Job Description

We seek a seasoned professional to provide operational leadership, governance, and stewardship for our data architecture strategy, modeling, and overall data practice. This role involves managing all related principles, policies, and procedures around data management. You will lead the Data Architecture practice within the team, create and improve processes and artifacts, and provide training and guidance to other team members.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Data Architecture practice within the team.
  • Develop and enhance processes and artifacts related to data management.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members.
  • Ensure adherence to data management principles, policies, and procedures.



Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with OLTP systems and data modeling.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Data Modeling (both logical and physical).
  • 5 years of experience with Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, or other RDBMS.
  • Proficiency with data modeling tools (Erwin preferred) for at least 5 years.
  • 2 years of experience in performance optimization.
  • 5 years of experience with SQL.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with NoSQL and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL.
  • Background in the banking or financial industry.
  • Experience with Power BI or Cognos.
