Position Overview: Our client is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join their dynamic team. As a Pharmacist with their team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of their patients by providing expert pharmaceutical care and personalized medication management services. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and patients to deliver optimal therapeutic outcomes and uphold the highest standards of pharmacy practice.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing Medications: Accurately and efficiently interpret prescriptions, compound and dispense medications in compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Patient Care: Provide counsel on prescription and over-the-counter medications, potential side effects, and interactions. Offer advice on health management, disease prevention, and wellness.
  • Medication Management: Review medication histories, monitor drug therapies, and ensure therapeutic appropriateness.
  • Clinical Services: Perform medication reviews, vaccinations, and other clinical services as required.
  • Health Promotion: Conduct health and wellness screenings, and promote public health initiatives.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of pharmaceutical care activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacy technicians, assistants, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Compliance: Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards of practice.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in Pharmacy (B.Sc.Pharm. or Pharm.D.) from an accredited Canadian pharmacy school.
  • Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the BC College of Pharmacists.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
