Job Description

About the Team:

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, the Internal Communications Specialist is based at the SSENSE Fulfillment Center (FC) in Montreal and plays an essential role in ensuring our diverse team feels heard, informed, and connected. They will draft a variety of internal communications, in both English and French, to effectively relay important information across the Fulfillment Center, encouraging transparency and promoting the company culture. The ideal candidate has meticulous attention to detail, a good understanding of effective messaging within an operational environment, and is perfectly bilingual.

Draft a variety of multichannel internal communications in English and French including emails, monthly newsletters, notices on digital screens, and posters with a sensitivity to tone, subject matter and audience

Review and translate to French internal documents including policies, training manuals and more, while ensuring accuracy in tone and consistency in quality

Contribute to the development of new and creative internal communications initiatives and channels to efficiently engage and inform employees

Ensure that internal communications guidelines are respected across the Fulfillment Center to maintain consistency across the company

Support with the development and maintenance of an internal communications calendar that thoughtfully organizes all forecasted communications

Qualifications

How To Excel In This Role:

A minimum of three (3) years experience in corporate internal communications, including translation in English & French

Mastery of French and English grammar, spelling, and usage including ability to craft culturally-sensitive texts

Experience working in communications in an operation environment (warehouse) is a strong asset

Experience communicating with and working alongside senior management

Proficient with Google Suite, Photoshop is an asset
