In support of this acquisition, Saint-Gobain has an exciting career opportunity for a Maintenance and Engineering Manager.
What’s the job?The Maintenance and Engineering Manager is a member of the Plant Leadership Team reporting directly to the Plant Manager. Peers include the Production Manager, Quality Manager, and the Warehouse & Logistics Manager. The Maintenance and Engineering Manager is managing the maintenance and engineering department. He is accountable and responsible for departmental safety, environmental controls, development of the maintenance and engineering employees team, equipment condition and protection, technical reliability, capital departmental cost controls and budgeting. He is also in charge of the capital investment program for the site.
- Participation with other departments to develop and/or analyze strategies to achieve Plant and Corporate objectives including, but not limited to safety, productivity, costs, quality, customer service and team development.
- To ensure safe working conditions are maintained and improved regarding process plant and infrastructure.
- To ensure business continuity through Site Risk reduction program.
Delivery of planned capex requirements completed in full, on time and in budget.
Capex creation & submission.
