Important Responsibilities


• With an emphasis on high product availability, optimum performance, and security, design, code, and manage web applications.


• Take part in pertinent Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities such as planning, building, testing, reviews, and demos.


• Write programmes, design documentation, and software requirements, as well as package, test, configure, and deploy software.


• Before sending code to Quality Assurance, perform debugging and unit testing (QA).


• Collaborate on the development, testing, and implementation of information technology solutions with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers.


• Assist client services with technical help to find solutions for client problems.


• Examine and draught functional, software, and system design specifications.


• DevOps and Cloud expertise are advantages.


Qualifications


• Engineering or Computer science degree


• 2+ years in a senior position and 5+ years working in backend development.


• Thorough familiarity with Core Java and Spring Boot


• Proven proficiency with web services and REST APIs


• Familiarity with databases like Oracle and Mongo.


• The capacity to reverse-engineer things and read code in different languages


• Knowledge of messaging and application program interfaces (APIs)


• Knowledgeable about agile software development


• Proficient written and verbal communication skills


• Knowledge of insurance is a plus, as is the capacity to fundamentally comprehend intricate commercial procedures that operate technology systems.


Knowledge and experience with Guidewire is a nice to have.
