Andrologist/Medical Laboratory Technologist

Pacific Fertility is hiring a full-time Andrologist/Medical Laboratory Technologist for our Burnaby clinic.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide patient-centered care
- Strong communication skills
- Patient advocacy
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic andrology procedures including semen analysis, sperm washes for intrauterine inseminations, sperm washes for IVF, trial wash, semen cryopreservation/thaw, and preparation of donor specimens for donor insemination
- Possess thorough knowledge of the principles and practice of laboratory sterile technique and have meticulous attention to detail.
- Be motivated and a self-starter
- Demonstrate adaptability in changing environments
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and oral
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Certified Medical Laboratory Technologist (CSMLS)
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory is preferred but not required
- CFAS Andrologist Certification is preferred.
- Proven ability to identify and successfully demonstrate and realize company goals and objectives.
- Demonstrate innovative, analytical abilities, and exceptional communication skills to deliver excellent patient care
