Job Title: Intermediate Electronics Technician – RF Specialization

Location: Montreal, QC


Job Overview:

As an Intermediate Electronics Technician – RF Specialization, you will be part of the team responsible for assembling, testing, and modifying electronic circuits and RF components. You’ll work on various low-to-medium complexity projects, following written guidelines and participating in the testing of electronic systems. The role provides opportunities to gain hands-on experience in RF measurements and testing in collaboration with engineers and senior technicians.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and modify developmental electronic circuits according to specific guidelines.
  • Set up and verify test benches and testing equipment.
  • Perform basic RF unit tests, including interference measurements, noise figure analysis, RF gain, amplifier compression tests, and oscillation verification.
  • Conduct RF measurements using a vector network analyzer and other instruments (e.g., reflection coefficient, return loss, insertion loss).
  • Install test assemblies in their test setups.
  • Carry out thermal and vacuum thermal testing on RF sub-assemblies.
  • Record data and document test results.
  • Adhere to flight test processes and maintain compliance with internal procedures and safety regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as required.


Qualifications:

  • DEC or equivalent in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in spoken and written French; English is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Adaptability and resourcefulness
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge of RF electronics and testing equipment.


Schedule:

- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

- Depending on project needs, evening or weekend shifts may be required.

- We offer flexible scheduling options including day, evening, and weekend shifts.
