Key Responsibilities

  • Validate a range of regulatory, actuarial, financial, and risk models to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support model governance, including ongoing monitoring, reviewing, and remediating model issues or breaches.
  • Partner with model developers and owners to resolve identified model concerns.


Basic Qualifications

  • PhD in a quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in model risk management.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Familiarity with financial and actuarial modeling concepts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of asset-liability management and insurance industry practices.
  • Relevant certifications a plus (CFA, FRM, ASA, FSA).
  • Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Azure) and knowledge of international regulatory standards.
