The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced and energetic General Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is not just a job; it's a career opportunity that offers growth, development, and the chance to make a significant impact on our community. Leading the team, you will provide the highest level of customer service and efficient operation of the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Coach and lead a team of two direct reports: Assistant Resident Services Manager and Residential Maintenance Manager.
  • Vendor and Contract Management: Source and liaise with vendors delivering support services to the property.
  • Building Operations: Oversee all building operations and staff to ensure a safe and well-functioning environment.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare annual operating budget in collaboration with the finance team and senior management team.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Maintain the highest level of customer service by promptly addressing residents' needs and concerns.
  • Resident Orientation: Manage incoming resident orientation, coordinate move-ins, and ensure all occupancy prerequisites are met.
  • Lease Management: Ensure proper lease documentation is maintained and lease administration is performed as required.
  • Leasing and Marketing: Work closely with the leasing team to facilitate showings, marketing activities, and onboarding of new residents.
  • Resident Onboarding: Communicate with new clients to address pre-move-in requirements such as elevator bookings, tenancy insurance, and utility account setups.
  • Suite Inspections: Inspect suites to ensure they are ready for new arrivals and conduct pre-move-out inspections as required.
  • Service Requests: Monitor resident service requests and arrange for timely repairs.
  • Unit Turnover: Ensure vacant suites are up to building standards for incoming tenants.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to property management standards, including legislative requirements, compliance, safety standards, and emergency response procedures.
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of common areas and rectify any deficiencies.
  • Resident Engagement: Assist in planning and executing the Activities Calendar to foster resident engagement.
  • Emergency Response: Be on-call after hours to respond to emergencies.

About You:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in management operations in Hospitality, Senior Living, Residential Condominium and/or Luxury and/or High-End Retail is preferred.
  • Personal Skills: Exceptional communication, self-awareness, resourcefulness and conflict resolution.
  • Professional Skills: Strong financial management, sales and negotiation, and managerial skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Attitude: Self-motivated and results-driven team player.
