Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for early childhood education and a drive for excellence? Next Gen Daycare is seeking a visionary Daycare Director to lead our innovative childcare facility. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with international exposure, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) experience, and a proven ability to manage both a team and the daycare itself.

  • Salary: $38.65–$40.00 an hour
  • Location: Okotoks
  • Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide visionary leadership in the development and implementation of educational programs that promote STEAM learning and holistic child development.
  • Manage all aspects of the daycare, including operations, finances, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and motivate a team of educators and support staff to deliver high-quality care and education.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that values diversity and promotes a culture of learning and growth.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, children, and the community to enhance the daycare’s reputation and enrollment.

Requirements:

  • ECE Level 3 Diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with a focus on STEAM education.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage a team and oversee daycare operations effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for childcare facilities.
  • A police background check.
  • First Aid Certification.
