Preventive Maintenance Technician

Brandt is currently seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician for our Mississauga Construction & Forestry location. This individual will be responsible for completing on-site Preventive Maintenance services on commercial heavy equipment at customer sites utilizing state of the art technologies and a new purpose-built truck.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Performing all levels of PM services on a scheduled basis in a professional manner
  2. Identifying and reporting on additional items identified that require follow-up service work by a heavy-duty technician
  3. Ensuring the accurate capture and reporting of PM service checklist, inspection, and work order information for the benefit of customer reporting
  4. Other duties as assigned #LI-onsite
Required Skills

The successful candidate must:

  1. be motivated, energetic, and have strong communication skills
  2. be willing to work after-hours and/or participate in shift-work as required to support customer needs
  3. possess a DZ license
  4. provide a recent driver’s abstract
  5. be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Required Experience

Must have:

  1. experience operating, servicing, and/or maintaining agricultural, automotive, or heavy equipment
  2. trade experience to a second- or third-year apprentice level (encouraged to apply)
  3. proven experience in contributing in a service-oriented environment working directly with customers and equipment operators
