WHAT WE ARE OFFERING:

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Currently registered with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario
  • Minimum of 1+ year of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
  • Valid CPR and BLS Certification
  • Experience with computerized dental practice management software is considered an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, yet caringly with patients and families
  • Up to date on all current immunizations and current IPAC training

SKILL SET:

  • Conduct screening procedures including but not limited to, assessment and documentation of patient's oral health, dental charting, scaling and root planning, developing dental radiographs, etc.
  • Digital radiographs and intraoral camera use to educate the patients and assist the dentist in comprehensive treatment planning
  • Formulate treatment plans and work closely with patients and families to encourage patient ownership and ensure plan adherence
  • Any knowledge of Itero scanning and/or Ortho experience is preferred but not mandatory. Ortho mentorship available and hourly rate can be $45-60/hour depending on experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $43.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 22 per week
