Associate, Inside Sales

Our client, an investment fund requires an Associate to join their sales and marketing team. As an Associate, Inside Sales, you will play a crucial role in helping drive sales growth by identifying and cultivating new opportunities. The Associate, Sales and Marketing collaborates closely with the Sales and Marketing team to drive sales, cultivate new business, and manage existing client relationships for the Funds. Leveraging daily phone and electronic communication, as opposed to face-to-face meetings, the Associate, Sales and Marketing will focus on relationship-building and sales enhancement.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Sales and Marketing team by promptly following up on meetings, events, and webcasts.
- Initiate contact with clients to initiate or expand existing relationships.
- Maintain an organized archive of relevant information about the Funds, policies, procedures, and rules for client dissemination.
- Schedule and coordinate sales meetings and presentations with Advisors to promote the Funds.
- Develop a strategy to achieve weekly sales activity objectives.
- Foster strong partnerships with Advisors.
- Record daily activities using Salesforce (CRM).
- Prepare and update all marketing materials.
- Provide sales strategies, concepts, marketing ideas, and support.
- Assist the Sales and Marketing team in developing a business pipeline through various sources.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to identify opportunities for business growth and advancement.
- Develop an excellent understanding of the Funds.
- Assist with client inquiries, investment sales, and other assigned duties.
- Participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years in a similar sales role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Completion of or working towards the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or the Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) Course is a plus.
- Strong client service skills with the ability to confidently handle client interactions.
- High-performance standards and a commitment to achieving results.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a dedication to continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
