It is one of the largest providers of production chemicals and drilling fluid systems and is focused on being the leading provider of technically advanced chemical solutions throughout the life cycle of the oilfield.
CES Energy Solutions is looking for a motivated and highly organized individual to fill the position of Junior Business Systems Analyst. This full-time permanent position is located in Calgary, AB and reports directly to the Director, Enterprise Solutions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain documentation for key systems, business processes, and end user training manuals.
- Perform routine data entry and administrative tasks as assigned.
- Provide first-line support for user requests received via phone, voicemail, e-mail, or in-person for your area of responsibility.
- Under direct supervision, assist in the design and documentation of functional and technical specifications for development projects, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control table
Required skillset and qualifications:
- Completed or nearing completion of a bachelor's degree in business and/or an IT related discipline.
- Ability to consistently follow and enforce business process rules when performing specific duties as assigned.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong troubleshooting, problem solving and, time management
- Accounting knowledge and an understanding/exposure to related business processes and transaction cycles within a finance department.
- Practical experience implementing process changes individually or as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable team player focused on delivering quality work product on a consistent basis.
Additional skills or experience:
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance and Supply Chain.
- Experience within a manufacturing and/or up stream oil services company.
- Functional working knowledge with any of the following: SQL, SSRS reporting, PowerBI, Microsoft Power Platform, Visio, DevOps.
