The Investment Planning Specialist will assist analysts to evaluate new investment projects for management approval and support tasks involving with monitoring and coordinating financial activities of existing investments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist to perform feasibility analysis on important investment projects of all group companies from financial / strategic standpoint
  • Assist to coordinate investment decisions in accordance with Toyota Tsusho group’s policy
  • Maintenance Subsidiaries Control Process and Policy
  • Support/ Coordinate other groups in subsidiaries’ matters (data collection, variance analyses, Impairment analyses, fair value analyses for cost method companies….and etc.)
  • Some travel to throughout US, Canada and Mexico

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required with a minimum of 3 years 3 year experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, budget analysis. Experience in automotive industry a plus.
  • Requires critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in Japanese is preferred, but not required
