MSS Coordinator

About the Role

Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the MSS Coordinator will support day-to-day field operations, enforce and adhere to company policies and procedures, follow appropriate dispatch protocols, and assist employees with training and goal setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative

1. Provide supervision and leadership while supporting employees with training and goal setting.
2. Monitor daily efficiencies and identify areas of improvement.
3. Oversee field utilization.
   • Maintain knowledge of current operations, including work schedules and personnel head counts.
4. Dispatch ongoing jobs to available personnel/contractors.
5. Adhere to, enforce, and demonstrate all company policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE, hazard ID process, and quality process.
6. Provide on-the-job training to new and existing employees following company-mandated work instructions.

Facility Management

1. Ensure housekeeping standards are met within the work areas.

Field Operations

1. Assist the Field Operations Manager with daily duties in shop and/or field.
2. Provide field technical support as needed, in coordination with the Field Operations Manager.
3. Work with engineering on the implementation of product development, new product release, and coordinate implementation with the field personnel (e.g., training).
4. Troubleshoot field issues and communicate with the on-site representative to complete tasks efficiently, following training and competency validation.

Required Abilities, Knowledge, and Experience

1. Demonstrated experience as a supervisor in the oil and gas sector.
2. Strong understanding of job hazard assessments with a safety-first mindset.
3. Ability to explain necessary equipment processes.
4. Experienced in providing clear and concise communications.
5. Effective team engagement and leadership skills.
