Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mixed Signal Engineer to join our team in Ottawa.


Job Description:


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of mixed signal circuits and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Perform detailed circuit design, simulation, and verification.
  • Develop and implement test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of mixed signal designs.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in mixed signal technology.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in mixed signal circuit design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles.
  • Proficiency in using design and simulation tools such as Cadence, SPICE, and MATLAB.
  • Experience with PCB layout and design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead projects.
  • Experience with SiGe Design and/or layout
  • PM4A Circuit Design


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with RF circuit design.
  • Knowledge of signal processing algorithms and techniques.
  • Familiarity with FPGA and microcontroller programming.
  • Experience within data center SoC
