As a Senior Project Manager at Botsford Associates, you will play a pivotal role in leading an AIRB initiative from inception to successful implementation for one of our esteemed banking clients. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and coordinate multiple work streams, ensuring alignment with the overall Enterprise AIRB strategy. You will utilize your extensive experience and deep expertise in project management within the Risk, Capital Markets, Treasury, and Finance domains to drive this critical project to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of the AIRB system, ensuring all project milestones are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior stakeholders across various departments, including Risk, Capital Markets, Treasury, and Finance, to ensure seamless communication and alignment with the project's objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, incorporating best practices in project management, change management, and process improvement.
- Team Coordination: Oversee and manage cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, support, and guidance to ensure optimal performance and collaboration.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential issues and challenges.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, status updates, and other project-related materials, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the AIRB system meets all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
- AIRB System Development: Demonstrated experience in building an AIRB system from scratch at a major financial institution, with a proven track record of successful implementation.
- Project Management Expertise: Extensive experience as a Senior Project Manager or Program Manager within the Risk, Capital Markets, Treasury, and Finance domains.
- Change Management: Strong change management skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and build a well-organized project structure utilizing best practices.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Proven leadership abilities, with a talent for fostering teamwork and collaboration among cross-functional project teams
