Your Opportunity
Our Sarnia & Strathroy offices are looking for a Senior Manager to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team and own the following responsibilities:
- Lead review and compilation engagements, in addition to corporate tax returns for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises
- Building effective working relationships with client contacts and responding effectively to client requests
- Completion of trust returns and trust working papers
- Coordination of tax assignments including preparation of tax returns (T2s, T4s, T5s, GST/HST), and coordination with the tax department to ensure queries are cleared and deadlines are met
- Ensuring that all significant engagement matters are documented and brought to the attention of the Manager/Partner, as well as keeping them informed of the progress of the engagement
- Following-up with appropriate government agencies on questions relating to payroll, assessments, GST, HST, business numbers

Your experience and education
- You have completed your CPA designation
- You have at least 5+ years of private enterprise experience in the public accounting industry, with at least 1+ years at the management level
- In depth experience in relation to IFRS and ASPE files
- You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
- You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
