Job Duties
- Monitoring build progress, overseeing finance, and ensuring project quality.
- Expanding customer base.
- Ensuring client satisfaction.
- Escalating issues to the EVP promptly.
- Making strategic decisions and providing leadership and direction to project managers.
- Meeting with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on project progress regularly.
- Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships.
- Devising cost-effective plans to enable effective project completion, including project close-out.
- Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.
- Ensuring permits and all construction work packages are secured before project execution.
- Managing project managers and enabling them to supervise and manage their teams.
- Working in an office and on a construction site.
- Understanding and implementing WesTower’s Health and Safety guidelines, including participating in audits and developing crisis management plans.
- Being a safety leader and champion for rolling out new safety processes and tools while setting a great example of a positive safety culture.
- Coaching and mentoring project teams by utilizing project performance, performance reviews, one-on-one meetings, and constructive feedback.
- Ensuring and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Work Conditions
- Office and field setting.
- Manual dexterity is required to use desktop computers and peripherals.
- Interacts with upper and middle management, employees, subcontractors, and clients.
