In this role, the Analyst will support performance management and analytics, focusing on provincial laboratory medicine concerns and initiatives.

In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis related to laboratory testing to support evidence-based decisions.
  • Create analytic products for knowledge sharing and planning.
  • Draft reports, data visualizations, and prepare agendas.
  • Conduct literature reviews and jurisdictional scans.
  • Support operational issue resolution and service request management.
  • Develop automated solutions for standardized datasets and improved reporting efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve performance and data analytics issues.
  • Support critical changes and implement data quality improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to data protection and privacy procedures.

This role requires you to have:

  • Post-secondary degree in Health Informatics, Statistics Data Analytics, Operations Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations planning, business analytics, or related roles within the health care sector.
  • Proficient in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL), relational database management, and Microsoft Office applications.
