We are looking for 3 great pharmacists in Burnaby


Our client is looking to add 3 pharmacists to their team.


Location: Burnaby, BC.


Hourly Rate: $50.00/hour + bonus (no patient interaction)


Vacation: 3 weeks and benefits from day one


Join a dynamic team serving long-term care facilities as a full-time Operations Pharmacist. This pivotal role ensures all prescriptions are dispensed in compliance with provincial regulations and company policies to deliver top-quality pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities:

  • Uphold company policies and procedures to support pharmacists in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care.
  • Train and oversee dispensary staff as needed.
  • Contribute to financial goals of the company.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory effectively.
  • Provide professional and friendly customer service to foster client relationships.
  • Practice within the College's Scope of Practice and guidelines for pharmaceutical care.
  • Ensure accurate handling and documentation of narcotics and inventory.
  • Maintain up-to-date patient profiles.
  • Conduct technical, therapeutic, and electronic MAR checks in compliance with professional and legal standards.
  • Document and bill pharmaceutical interventions, opinions, and services.
  • Minimize medication incidents following company protocols.
  • Report and resolve medication incidents as required.
  • Participate in continuous learning activities and share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Document patient counselling in compliance with provincial regulations.
  • Assist with timely and accurate third-party processing, billing, and reporting.
  • Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Adhere to federal and provincial pharmacy regulations.
  • Promote inclusiveness and belonging in the workplace.


Requirements:

  • Licensed with the BC College of Pharmacists and in good standing.
  • Available for on-call services on a scheduled rotational basis.
  • Preferred: minimum of two years of pharmacist experience in long-term care, retail, or hospital settings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to customer service.
  • Proactive, with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
