Relevant du directeur commercial FP&A, l'analyste sera le partenaire financier des activités de Recochem au Canada et aux États-Unis et soutiendra l'expansion future de l'entreprise afin qu'elle devienne le chef de file des produits de transport en Amérique du Nord.
Vous serez responsable de l'élaboration et de la mise à jour d'un ensemble de rapports d'exploitation mensuels, de tableaux de bord et d'indicateurs de rendement clés qui donneront un aperçu du rendement de l'entreprise et de l'exécution de nos principales initiatives commerciales. Vous soutiendrez les projets et les nouvelles entreprises dans le cadre de notre développement sur de nouveaux marchés.

Cette opportunité est basée à Montréal.

Responsabilités

Analyses commerciales :
Fournir une analyse des résultats financiers mensuels et préparer des rapports d'exploitation mensuels pour l'équipe de direction de la division nord-américaine, y compris l'interprétation des informations sur les performances du mois en cours en tant qu'outil prédictif pour la réalisation des attentes en matière de performances pour l'ensemble de l'année.
Vous jouerez un rôle clé dans le processus de budgétisation et de prévision de la division nord-américaine, y compris le développement de modèles financiers détaillés et l'analyse des données financières pour assurer l'exactitude et l'alignement avec la stratégie globale de l'entreprise.
Fournir aux équipes de vente, de marketing et de gestion des informations détaillées sur la dynamique des ventes (tendances du marché et des volumes, évolution des prix, changements de mix, performances des segments et des UGS, données des points de vente, conversion des clients potentiels, etc.
Créer et maintenir des indicateurs clés de performance et des tableaux de bord permettant aux équipes de vente et de marketing de mesurer les progrès accomplis par rapport aux priorités stratégiques.
Fournir un soutien financier à l'équipe de vente pour les renouvellements de contrats.
Collaborer avec l'équipe de vente pour tenir à jour une liste d'initiatives d'amélioration, de réalisations et d'impacts sur la réalisation des objectifs de vente et de rentabilité.
Effectuer une analyse de la rentabilité par produit, client, canal jusqu'à l'EBITDA et mettre en évidence les mauvais résultats auprès des chefs d'entreprise afin de les aider à formuler des mesures d'amélioration de la rentabilité.
Collaborer avec l'équipe de tarification pour mesurer la précision et la performance de la tarification (changements de prix par rapport à l'évolution des principaux produits de base et indices de marché).
Aider à l'intégration des entreprises acquises.
Analyse ad hoc et modélisation financière.

Outils et systèmes analytiques :
Être une ressource clé pour préparer et soutenir la migration vers le nouvel ERP Microsoft D365 en mettant en œuvre les meilleurs processus financiers et commerciaux.
Soutenir le déploiement de notre plateforme BI et travailler avec notre équipe informatique pour améliorer et étendre son utilisation dans tous les domaines de l'entreprise.

Qualifications

Baccalauréat en comptabilité, finance ou commerce. Le titre de CPA est préférable.
Minimum de 2 ans d'expérience pertinente dans le domaine de la comptabilité, de l'information financière, de la comptabilité ou d'autres fonctions financières pertinentes. Ouvert aux candidats n'ayant qu'une expérience en matière d'audit.
Solides compétences en matière de modélisation et d'analyse financières, y compris une expérience en matière de budgétisation, de prévision et d'établissement de rapports financiers.
Très analytique et soucieux du détail.
Grandes capacités d'organisation et aptitude à établir des priorités et à gérer plusieurs missions simultanées.
Excellentes compétences en matière de communication et de présentation, avec la capacité de communiquer des informations financières à un public non financier de manière claire et concise.
Une connaissance avancée de Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Vena, Workiva ou Microsoft D365 serait un atout.
La maîtrise de l'anglais est obligatoire, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral, et le bilinguisme (français et anglais) est hautement préférable.

Reporting to the Director Commercial FP&A, the Analyst will be the finance business partner of Recochem’s operations in Canada and the US and will support the future expansion of the company to become the leader of transportation products in North America.

You will be responsible to develop and maintain a set of monthly operating reports, dashboards and key performance indicators that will provide insights into the performance of the business and the execution of our key business initiatives. You will support projects and new business ventures as we continue our development into new markets.

This opportunity will be based in Montreal.

Key Responsibilities

Business analytics:
retation of current month performance information as a predictive tool for attainment of full year performance expectations.
You will play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process of the North American division, including the development of detailed financial models and the analysis of financial data to ensure accuracy and alignment with the company's overall strategy.
Provide deep insight to the sales, marketing and management teams regarding the sales dynamics (market and volume trends, price evolution, mix changes, segments and SKU performance, POS data, leads conversion, etc.) and marketing spend effectiveness.
Create and maintain KPIs and dashboards allowing the sales and marketing teams to measure progress against strategic priorities.
Provide financial support to the sales team for contract renewals.
Collaborate with the sales team to maintain a list of improvement initiatives, achievements and impacts on reaching sales and profitability targets.
Perform profitability analysis by product, customer, channel down to the EBITDA and highlight low performers to business leaders to help articulate profit enhancement measures.
Collaborate with the pricing team to measure pricing accuracy and performance (price changes vs evolution of major commodities and market indexes).
Ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling

Analytical tools and system:
Be a key resource to prepare and support the migration to new ERP Microsoft D365 by implementing best-in-class finance and business processes.
Support the roll-out of our BI platform and work with our IT team to improve and expand its usage across all areas of the business.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business. CPA designation preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial reporting, accounting, or other relevant financial role. Open to candidates with only audit experience.
Great financial analysis skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
Highly analytical and detail oriented.
Great organizational skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple simultaneous assignments.
Great communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to a non-financial audience in a clear and concise manner.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, Vena, Workiva or Microsoft D365 would be an asset.
Fluent in English is mandatory in both writing and speaking and bilingualism (French and English) is highly preferable.
