Adecco is actively seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our client’s team in Victoria, BC. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary ranging from $40 to $60 per hour, depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment while ensuring excellent customer service and communication.


  • Pay Rate: $40-$60/hour depending on experience.
  • Location: Victoria, BC
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday | on call required every 7 weeks for the duration of 1 week
  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Work on a variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including rooftop units, makeup air units, tube heaters, exhaust fans, line coolers, walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, and more.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and office staff to schedule and complete jobs, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and technologies in HVAC/R equipment to enhance your skills and service delivery.


Requirements:

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in HVAC/R service (preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in servicing HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Demonstrate a sense of ownership and accountability in all tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A commitment to integrity and honesty in all interactions.
  • A good memory to recall technical details and customer preferences.
