Industra Construction Corp is looking for a Civil Foreman with experience working in heavy civil construction with the ability to manually complete any activity when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a crew or crews of specific trade disciplines.
  • Interface with the client and other contractors on site.
  • Ensure the safety of the crew, equipment, and work environment.
  • Ensure that work is completed during regular hours
  • Ensures overall compliance of Industra’s health, safety, and environmental standards as well as occupational health and safety regulations daily.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead teams effectively in the day-to-day execution of the work by managing resources, equipment, and labour.
  • Completes daily paperwork and conduct daily toolbox talks.
  • Coordinates and communicates with the other Foreman and Supervision to ensure the correct sequencing of operations.
  • Effective organizational and planning skills; proven experience organizing workloads, managing multiple priorities, and working with multiple deadlines.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Red Seal Journeyman Trade certificate preferred
  • Minimum of 3 year in a supervisory role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, project teams and subtrades
  • A background in operating heavy equipment; with experience and knowledge in construction and heavy earthworks
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written


Job Type: Full-time


Pay Rate: $45/HR
