The Louise-Elisabeth residence is looking for a person to fill a part-time evening beneficiary attendant position. ***Candidates must have a DEP beneficiary attendant or RAC certificate or 5000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years in the position of PAB + RCR 16H up to date + PDSB completed.*** Evening premium of $1


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Schedule: a part-time evening position 1 weekend out of 2


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
  • Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
  • Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
  • PDSP Training
  • AEC or DEP completed
