Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Transportation CADD Designer with 4 or more years of experience in design-bid-build and design-build projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation CADD design and a proven track record of delivering high-quality design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare detailed transportation design drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess project requirements.
  • Utilize CADD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation) to create detailed design drawings and models.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support and expertise.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and presentations.
  • Review and analyze design documents, plans, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to address project-related issues and concerns.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in CAD design, drafting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in transportation CAD design, specifically in design-bid-build and design-build projects.
  • Proficiency in CADD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
  • Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, CAD Design, or a related field.
  • Experience with project management and client coordination.
  • Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal transportation regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with GIS software and applications.

Salary Range:

$24.71 - $45.96
