Cerco Cable is looking for an Operations and Project Manager to join our Dorval team


Since 1978, Cerco Cable has been THE Canadian source for low voltage and specialty wire and cabling solutions. Our primary focus is to provide our customers with products specifically qualified and certified for the Canadian market. Our primary areas of expertise cover building controls (HVAC), security, fire alarm, communications, OEM and two-hour fire rated cables. Our clients are leaders at servicing industrial, commercial, institutional and mass transit projects.


Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, organize, coordinate, supervise and control the proper functioning of operations
  • Supervise the schedule of its employees by ensuring that tasks are carried out adequately and within the requested deadlines
  • Implement and manage action plan activities aimed at achieving profitability objectives, optimizing the use of resources, reducing costs and increasing productivity in a safe environment
  • Develop work procedures and ensure their application
  • Optimize transport costs and service
  • Establish priorities to be carried out and assign the work to employees
  • Actively participate in the management of special projects
  • Participate in integration, training & management of employee performance files


Qualifications:

  • Experience as an operations and project manager in a distribution company – An asset
  • Experience in personnel management – ​​Minimum 1-3 years
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent – An asset
  • Recognized leadership in order to be able to supervise and guide your team
  • Good knowledge of computer systems and Office 365
  • Positive leadership, unifier and good communicator

Notre principal objectif est de fournir à nos clients des produits spécifiquement qualifiés et certifiés pour le marché canadien. Qualifications:
