Location: Ottawa 100% onsite, Monday-Friday


Responsibilities:

  • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the management and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including network, cloud services (Azure), and cybersecurity.
  • Software Development Oversight: Supervise and guide software development projects, ensuring they meet the company's standards for quality and efficiency.
  • System Security and Reliability: Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of all IT systems, implementing best practices for cybersecurity and data protection.
  • Hands-on Project Management: Lead and manage infrastructure projects hands-on, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Business Alignment: Align IT infrastructure with business needs, ensuring that technology solutions support the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate multiple software development teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrate strong people management, team leadership, and project management skills to effectively lead the technology department.
  • Infrastructure and Security: Focus on maintaining and improving IT infrastructure and security, implementing strategies to enhance overall system robustness and protection.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing Software Development Projects and cloud services.
  • Excellent knowledge of cybersecurity practices and IT system reliability.
  • Demonstrated experience in hands-on project management and infrastructure projects.
  • Exceptional people management, team leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to align IT strategies with business objectives.
