We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Team Leader to join our dynamic team. As a team leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance activities and team members, ensuring that all projects and products meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor and manage the quality assurance team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation of team members
- Organize and run daily scrum stand-up meetings, ensuring team alignment and addressing any roadblocks
- Prepare sprint drafts and follow up on current sprint progress, assisting in planning future sprints
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes, strategies, and methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Execute and supervise the execution of test cases, identify defects, and track issues to resolution
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Conduct regular quality audits, analyze quality metrics and performance data, and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
- Proven experience as a QA Lead or similar role
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes
- Proficiency in test management software (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Experience with both manual and automated testing
- Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks relevant to your tech stack
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) can be an advantage
- Understanding of agile/scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements if applicable to your industry
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
