Responsibilities:

  1. Focus on day-to-day tasks related to managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure and applications.
  2. Deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on cloud platforms.
  3. Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, including provisioning of compute, storage, network, and security.
  4. Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management tasks using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
  5. Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy cloud-native applications and services.
  6. Analyze cloud systems to ensure they meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
  7. Monitor cloud systems for performance, availability, and security issues and respond to incidents or alerts.
  8. Monitor budgeted cloud costs and work with value stream services for cost optimization proposals.
  9. Implement and manage cloud-based backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
  11. Work with development teams to ensure that cloud infrastructure and applications are designed and deployed to meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.
  12. Collaborate with internal solutions architects, vendor partners, other IT teams, stakeholders, and business units to ensure that the cloud infrastructure meets their needs and requirements.
  13. Assist in the development and maintenance of cloud infrastructure documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  14. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices.
How to thrive in this role?
  1. You hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  2. You have 5+ years of professional experience in an IT role.
  3. You hold certification(s) in AWS cloud solution foundations.
  4. You have experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  5. You have experience with cloud infrastructure and services, including compute, storage, network, and security.
  6. You have experience with cloud-native application development, including the use of microservices and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  7. You have a functional familiarity with cloud-based security concepts, such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
  8. You have a functional familiarity with infrastructure management, identity management, virtualization, and hosted services.
  9. You have a functional understanding of cloud-based automation and management tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
  10. You are familiar with cloud security and compliance best practices.
  11. You are familiar with monitoring and logging tools for cloud-based systems.
  12. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  13. You have experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
  14. You have good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  15. You are proficient in English and French both verbally and written.
