Pay rate: $22.95/hr

Timings: 8:30am-5pm

Shift: Mon-Fri

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured for transport.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Making delivery within the city and assisting in the warehouse to pick & pack products when they’re not driving and delivering product.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Handle freight with care, ensuring that items are delivered in good condition.
  • Assist with heavy equipment operation as needed during loading and unloading processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during deliveries.

Experience

  • Previous experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred.
  • Familiarity with freight handling and logistics operations is a plus.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair can be beneficial for vehicle maintenance tasks.
  • A valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
