Located in the Rivière-du-Loup district, near the shopping center, the Domaine Lafontaine residence has the pleasure of welcoming a golden clientele, autonomous and semi-autonomous.


POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Manoir Lafontaine residence is currently looking for an empathetic Beneficiary Attendant who is concerned about the well-being of residents. The resident attendant sees to the comfort, well-being, safety and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care.
More precisely, your daily life with us will look like:
Helping and accompanying residents in their travels
Notify the nurse and/or health services manager of any changes observed in the residents' state of health
Contribute to adjusting the residents' intervention plan through observations
Respect and promote proactive care among residents
Respect the standards and regulations in accordance with the certification of private seniors' residences and employer policies
Carry out a range of health and hygiene care while respecting the integrity and dignity of residents, in collaboration with the team
Respond to all emergency situations

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answering call bells
  • Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
  • In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .
  • Provide healthcare and wellness services to maintain and restore residents health and to help prevent illness
  • Respond to all emergency situations
  • While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Flexibility for the work schedule
