Job Description:

We are seeking a Salesforce CPQ Developer with a strong technical background and extensive experience in Salesforce development to join our team. As a senior Salesforce CPQ Developer, you will play a crucial role in implementing, customizing, and optimizing Salesforce CPQ solutions for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ implementation to meet specific client needs.
  • Apply your understanding of the Salesforce CPQ platform to design and implement solutions using both standard Salesforce features and custom development tools.
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop Apex code including triggers, flows, aura and/or lightning components, SOQL queries to enhance system functionality.
  • Lead application development efforts, including Apex, Visualforce, Salesforce Lightning, and Web Services Integration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CPQ configurations and integrations.
  • Perform impact analysis to assess the consequences of changes and improvements.
  • Translate functional design and requirements into detailed technical designs.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their CPQ needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Integrate Salesforce CPQ with other business systems and applications as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CPQ configurations and integrations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for CPQ configurations, custom code, and system architecture.


Required Skills:

  • Salesforce Expertise: A strong foundation in Salesforce development is essential.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform features, data modeling, and configuration is a must.
  • CPQ Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and its functionalities, including product configuration, pricing rules, quoting processes, and contract management.
  • APEX Development: Proficiency in APEX programming language to create custom solutions, including triggers, classes, and batch processes.
  • Visualforce: Ability to design and develop Visualforce pages and components to enhance user interfaces and extend CPQ functionality.
  • Lightning Components: Familiarity with Lightning components and the Lightning framework for creating interactive and responsive user interfaces.
  • Integration Skills: Experience in integrating Salesforce CPQ with external systems and services using REST, SOAP, or other integration methods.
  • Data Modeling: Skill in designing and implementing data models to support CPQ solutions, including custom objects and relationships.
  • Customization: Proficiency in configuring Salesforce CPQ to meet specific client requirements, including custom fields, validation rules, and workflows.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues in CPQ configurations and custom code.
  • CPQ Product Bundling: Knowledge of how to create product bundles and establish rules for product combinations.
  • Price Books and Pricing Rules: Ability to manage price books, establish pricing rules, and configure discount structures.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and stakeholders, including the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex CPQ-related challenges and optimize processes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4 to 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with at least 4 Years of implementation experience on Salesforce CPQ.
  • Certification in Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Revenue Cloud, Sales Cloud is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
