Position and Responsibilities:

The Programmatic practice is one of the cores of our organization, responsible for applying highly analytical and quantitative approaches to deliver campaign performance and help manage client relationships.

Our Senior Programmatic Managers are expected to employ and continually define state-of-the-art techniques in the online marketing industry through their deep understanding of digital technologies and a passion for using data to inform creative problem solving. They must possess excellent active listening skills to understand client needs and translate those needs into campaign objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Performance Management
  2. Master media and buying-related technologies, including DSPs, DMP, and 3rd party ad servers
  3. Understand client performance objectives and develop successful segmentation and optimization strategies to exceed client expectations
  4. Independently drive highly analytical and quantitatively driven techniques to continually exceed client performance expectations
  5. Make compelling arguments based on data and results for more client data access
  6. Hands-on execution and management of day-to-day performance of client campaigns
  7. Mine campaign, ad server, impression, and user data to identify and capitalize on key drivers of performance and identify opportunities for account growth
  8. Develop at minimum 2 best practices per year leading to incremental business growth
  9. Work with the Product team to enhance the utility of existing trading-related technologies and define future industry-leading capabilities
  10. Execute Omnicom and 3rd party planning, activation & measurement tools as client needs

Programmatic Planning:

  1. Programmatic Media and Programmatic Solutions at Accuen work very closely on a daily basis and are seated together in regional account teams
  2. Assist Solutions teams with client strategy development, annual account plans, and marketing solutions for clients
  3. Work closely with agency account teams and brand clients to develop best-in-class solutions
  4. Increase Accuen revenue and market share through new client development and upsell of existing clients
  5. Translate client goals and KPIs to platform activation strategies/tactics
  6. Drive planning & discovery in console
  7. Develop and implement all media mix logistics, definitions, processes at client-level
  8. Communicate day-to-day format, screen, platform performance to clients and agencies as needed

Organizational Management:

  1. Demonstrates leadership through influence with Agency and Programmatic Solutions counterparts
  2. Train team members and others on Programmatic Buying best practices
  3. Develop relationships with other Programmatic Buying professionals to share best practices and lessons learned
  4. Own a deep technical understanding of Accuen and 3rd party planning, activation & measurement tools
  5. Develop people and team management skills

Required Education and Experience:

  1. Experience managing online Display, Paid Search, Social, and Mobile campaigns – especially API-driven
  2. Experience optimizing Display marketing campaigns across DSP, DMP, and Ad Serving platforms
  3. Advanced Excel/spreadsheet capabilities, Macro/VBA experience a plus
  4. 3-5 years of work experience, with recent managerial experience in performance or direct-response online advertising which includes 2-3 years of experience managing client campaigns with a proven track record of client success

Required Skills:

  1. Proactive, self-starter, capable of setting goals and reporting progress against them
  2. Exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities, ability to mine data for campaign performance insights and implement proper strategies
  3. Passion for experimental design integrity and excellence including use of A/B control testing, statistical significance, and deductive reasoning
  4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and balance time across multiple clients and internal initiatives
  5. Strong leadership & communication skills
  6. Data analysis in Excel, including Pivot Tables & basic statistics. Experience with SPSS, SAS, Salesforce, Business Objects or other BI & statistical toolsets a plus
  7. Advanced understanding and experience with DSPs, DMPs, 3rd Party data, pixel technologies, Ad Servers, Attribution, and Ad Verification
