We are looking for a Dynamometer Instrumentation Technician to report to the Department Manager, Data Technologies and Test Equipment, to help us support the various systems used in the test room. In this role, you will work on the engine, battery or chassis dynamometer test benches at BRP's product research and development center.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Handle instrument sensors in general (thermocouple, pressure sensor, flowmeter)
  • Work with a data acquisition system
  • Create simple electrical assemblies
  • Navigate different projects in parallel
  • Work in a dynamic technical environment on both our internal combustion and electric vehicles.

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • D.E.C. in electrical engineering, electronics or instrumentation and control
  • Relevant experience
  • Electronics skills and ability to wire low-voltage assemblies
  • Interest in or knowledge of motors, batteries or powertrains
  • Good oral and written communication skills in French, as well as a level of technical English to collaborate with our partners outside Quebec.
