Time and Payroll Analyst

We are currently seeking a Time and Payroll Analyst to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario.
This is a full-time, permanent, unionized position. The position will be based in Falconbridge, Ontario. Work location is not accessible by public transportation.
Duties and Accountabilities:
- Maintains open communications with departments to ensure unionized employees are properly paid in accordance with the collective agreements and Employment Standards.
- Exports all payroll and time related data from SIMS to SAP.
- Responsible for the processing of the unionized bi-weekly, nickel and performance bonus off-cycle payrolls.
- Assists in the preparation of the monthly mines production incentive bonus working with Management and Supervisors to ensure its completeness and accuracy.
About You:
Your personal commitment to health, safety, training, and continuous improvement will be the key to your growth in this role.
Education and Skills:
- Minimum three-year College diploma specializing in business.
- Successfully completed the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) through the Canadian Payroll Association’s Certificate Program.
- Five years of payroll experience.
- General knowledge of accounting and mining terminologies required.
- Proficient in the use of personal computers, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and SIMS.
- Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills.
- Strong public speaking skills.
- Ability to handle stress and work without direct supervision.
- Respect for the confidential nature of this work.
