We’re seeking enthusiastic On Call StrongStart Facilitators to lead our StrongStart Centres In this role, you will create fun, educational activities for children and parents, promote the Centre within the community, and manage daily operations. If you have experience with young children, strong organizational skills, and a love for making an impact in the community, please apply today

The Strong Start Facilitator will:

work effectively with a variety of parents, children, professionals and community mentors;

maintain accurate records;

be flexible with work hours;

create, plan, implement and budget for parent participation early learning program;

be required to deal with challenging behaviour issues;

attend all early learning professional development activities;

have strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;

possess knowledge and experience with computers and the internet;

Applicants Must:

have completed Grade 12 (Senior Secondary School Graduation);

possess a valid certificate, preferably a diploma, in Early Childhood Education;

possess a current Community Care Facilities Branch BC License to Practice;

possess a Class 5 Driver's Licence;

possess or be willing to obtain a valid First Aid Certificate;

possess or be willing to obtain a valid Food Safe Certification;

have/or complete MyEd Level 1 Training.
