What you will do:

The Director, Client Partnerships plays a crucial role at Cowan, overseeing the relationship between the organization and its clients to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure clients' needs and expectations are met
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the client experience
  • Analyze data and trends to enhance overall client service performance
  • Lead and manage a team of client service professionals by providing coaching and mentoring - setting goals, providing guidance and evaluating performance
  • Manage budgets for the client service team
  • Keep abreast of industry trends to stay competitive
  • Provide the Sr VP monthly reporting related to strategic initiatives & KPIs related to performance of team
  • Provide subject matter expertise and updates regarding industry trends and guidance on complex topics (e.g. interpretation of contract and policy language)
  • Work collaboratively with the Benefits & Pension Consulting senior management team and the other lines of business within Cowan to implement new products and processes to meet the strategic business plan/expectations
  • Ensure escalated client and practice issues are dealt with efficiently

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as business or management, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years or more of benefits experience or equivalent, preferably in a benefits consulting or insurance setting
  • Experience in leading and motivating high performance teams and culture
  • Knowledge of MS apps, including Word, Excel and Outlook are required.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills with experience handling multiple priorities and requests.
  • Highly focused with attention to detail and ability to collaborate well with others.
