Your Opportunity
Our Alberta offices are looking for a Manager to join the Domestic Tax team and own the following responsibilities:
- Lead client engagements for a wide variety of private clients
- Identify, develop, and implement strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, including preparing and reviewing tax reorganizations, assisting with pre-sale tax planning, providing advice for clients with estate planning needs, assisting with the tax research process, and more
- Assist with various tax compliance needs for your clients, including the review of corporate, trust, and estate tax returns
- Build key working relationships with clients
- Participate in business development initiatives including identifying new business opportunities with existing clients
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
- Engage in training staff and investing in the professional development of your team

Your experience and education
- You have completed your CPA designation
- You have five years experience in public accounting with a strong affinity for tax
- You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
- You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
