Responsibilities:

  • Design Store Fixtures: Develop creative and functional store fixture concepts that align with brand vision, enhance customer experience, and meet retail space requirements.
  • Create Visual Graphics: Design custom graphics, signage, and other visual elements to complement fixtures, incorporating branding, typography, and color schemes.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with project managers, architects, and marketing teams to understand client requirements and project goals.
  • 3D Modeling & Prototyping: Create detailed 3D models and renderings of store fixtures and graphics. Lead the prototyping process to bring designs to life for testing and iteration.
  • Material & Manufacturing Knowledge: Select appropriate materials and finishes for fixtures and graphics, ensuring durability, functionality, and aesthetic quality. Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  • Client Presentations: Prepare presentations and design concepts for clients, presenting ideas clearly and professionally to secure approvals.
  • Project Management: Oversee design projects from concept to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and production schedules.
  • Trend Research: Stay up-to-date on design trends, retail innovations, and new materials to ensure designs are forward-thinking and competitive in the marketplace.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in industrial design, with a focus on store fixtures, retail design, or visual merchandising.
  • Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks, SketchUp) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Excellent understanding of materials, fabrication processes, and manufacturing methods.
  • Strong graphic design skills with experience in creating visual branding, signage, and print materials.
  • Ability to think creatively and outside of the box while maintaining a focus on functionality and usability.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating previous work in retail design, store fixtures, and graphics.
  • Experience in the retail or commercial design industry.
  • Knowledge of 3D rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, KeyShot) is a plus.
  • Experience in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, or similar).
  • Understanding of sustainability practices and materials in design.
