Are you a skilled content writer with a passion for crafting persuasive, engaging copy that drives results? Catch Digital is on the lookout for a contract content writer/copywriter who can bring our clients' visions to life through expertly written websites and landing pages.


About the Role

This is a freelance, contract-based position with hourly compensation. We manage multiple website and landing page projects at any given time, and while the workload can fluctuate, we're looking for a reliable contractor who can consistently take on 1-2 projects on an ongoing basis.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Content Creation: Write compelling, conversion-focused copy for websites and landing pages, utilizing our proprietary methodologies and Google Docs templates.
  • Wireframe Alignment: Ensure that your content fits seamlessly within the wireframe structure of each project, maintaining the appropriate length and format for various text areas.
  • (Optional) Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their vision and gather necessary content through a structured questionnaire that you’ll help refine and develop.
  • Audience Resonance: Craft content that deeply resonates with the target audience, which can vary significantly depending on the client’s industry and business goals.
  • Brand Consistency: Follow and adapt to the specific tone and writing styles of our clients' brands, ensuring that all content is aligned with their unique voice and messaging.
  • SEO Optimization: Create SEO-friendly content, incorporating targeted keywords to enhance visibility and search engine ranking.
  • Weekly Meetings: Participate in a weekly call every Monday to discuss project updates, feedback, and next steps.
  • AI Integration: Leverage AI tools to streamline the writing process and enhance content quality.
  • Content Review: Analyze client-provided inspiration and feedback to ensure the final content aligns perfectly with their brand and goals.


You’re Probably a Match If You Have:

  • Experience: A strong portfolio showcasing your copywriting skills, especially in website and landing page content.
  • Wireframe Knowledge: The ability to comprehend and work within the constraints of a wireframe, ensuring content is appropriately structured and formatted.
  • SEO Knowledge: A solid understanding of SEO best practices and how to implement them in your writing.
  • Creativity & Precision: The ability to craft persuasive, engaging content that clearly communicates client value propositions.
  • Audience Insight: A keen understanding of how to tailor content to resonate with diverse target audiences across various industries.
  • Brand Adaptability: Experience in following and maintaining consistent brand tone and style across different projects.
  • Tech-Savviness: Comfort using AI tools and learning new technologies to optimize the copywriting process.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong skills in client interaction, especially in creating content questionnaires and gathering detailed project requirements.

Compensation

This is a freelance, part-time role with hourly pay ranging from $25.00 to $35.00, depending on experience. You’ll be expected to work 4 to 20 hours per week, with the flexibility to manage your own time. Invoices are submitted bi-monthly.


Interview Process

  • Shortlist: Initial review of applications and portfolios.
  • Assessment: Short, focused assessment where you’ll be provided with a wireframe of a hypothetical client. Your task will be to craft the content for this project, which will be evaluated for alignment with our standards.
  • Interview: A formal interview to discuss your assessment, experience, and fit for the role.
  • Candidate Selection: The top candidate will be selected and offered the contract.


The assessment is a crucial part of our hiring process, helping us identify top-tier candidates who can deliver high-quality content that aligns with client needs and expectations.
