About the role

As the only Senior Brand Designer at Zeffy (reporting directly to the Head of Marketing), you will play a pivotal role enabling and educating thousands of nonprofits to fundraise 100% free.

With over 3,000 new accounts created each month on Zeffy, you'll have a unique opportunity to own your skills to elevate the overall visual and user experience across all marketing channels, significantly impacting Zeffy’s growth.

Your mission? To design the highest-converting website in our industry while creating a first-class, unique brand experience that defies typical expectations. Beyond web design, you will work on various projects to enhance Zeffy's overall brand, supporting our expansion to assist 50,000 nonprofits in the next year.

More precisely, you’ll get to:

  • Gather insights into user behaviours by utilizing analytical tools such as Hotjar and Amplitude, along with conducting direct user interviews.
  • Design web pages, components, and experiences on Figma (or your preferred design tool), taking into consideration user behavior patterns and business objectives.
  • Develop and integrate new components/pages in Webflow, ensuring they are responsive and accessible for all.
  • Conduct A/B testing on the Zeffy website to optimize user experience and improve conversion rates.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of your actions and make iterations based on the results.
  • Outside of the website, design engaging and visually appealing content for Zeffy such as social ads, deck presentations, and more.

Examples of projects the team is currently working on:

  • Enhancing our landing pages to improve the users experience for our paid audience.
  • Optimizing the designs and conversion rate on our website's product pages.
  • Developing tools for nonprofit organizations to calculate their savings with Zeffy.
Preferred experience (qualifications)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic and/or web design.
  • Solid knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Proficient in the entire design-integration cycle, from ideation to execution, including impact assessment.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving long-term Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that directly impact website conversion and digital transformation funnels.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, including proficiency in integrating with a CMS (preferably Webflow).
  • Native/bilingual proficiency in English, and professional working proficiency in French.
  • Experience with web-based or SaaS digital products, particularly in a fast-growing startup environment (a plus).
