As a Technology Training Advisor in the Best Practices team at National Bank Financial Wealth Management (NBFWM), you’ll act as a resource-person providing expertise in your field to NBFWM advisor teams in the adoption of various applications as well as identifying technological business efficiencies for NBFWM branch employes. You will also identify opportunities to leverage technology for NBFWM branch employees by offering quality technical learning support. In addition, you will make recommendations on the direction of services relating to IT support to promote the evolution of advisor teams according to their individual business objectives and those of the firm. It is with your communication skills, your training experience and your knowledge of various technological applications that you will have a positive impact on the National Bank Financial Wealth advisor teams.


Your role:

  • Lead training and coaching sessions for advisors and their teams by leveraging your knowledge and technical expertise as an IT expert
  • Develop and continuously improve training strategies
  • Design, develop and update various training materials: training plans, training manuals, video capsules, PowerPoint presentations, Podcasts, etc.
  • Identify user needs, understand business issues and offer appropriate coaching to support the achievement of their practice’s objectives
  • Ensure and increase the level of mastery and integration of all technological tools in the sector
  • Ensure and measure user satisfaction of the teams learning support services
  • Contribute to major technological deployments. Support the implementation of deployments to ensure the necessary updates and follow-ups are completed
  • Ensure the design, development, updating and distribution of documentation relating to the technological applications available to NBFWM branch employees

Your team:

As part of the Wealth Management sector, you’ll be on a team of 12 colleagues, and you’ll report to the Manager - Employee learning experience. Our team stands out for its training expertise and the excellent client experience it provides to wealth advisors and their teams.

Prerequisites:

  • Three-year professional college diploma or academic equivalent, related to the wealth management industry, and eight years of relevant experience
  • Experience in training delivery and communication
  • Experience in the full-brokerage environment (wealth management) an asset
  • Experience with Salesforce and Croesus
  • Experience of having worked in a wealth advisor team, an asset
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as collaboration tools (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Yammer, Teams, etc).
  • Ability to democratize learning applications within the business line
  • Ability to interact with Wealth Advisors and their teams
