Your Part in It:
Working out of our Hamilton office in Ontario, we are looking for our next mid-level Logistics Coordinator. You will be responsible for making sure the movement of freight across North America, or even across the globe, is coordinated and executed successfully according to our customers’ needs. Your work will support our rapidly growing Operations team and you will communicate thoroughly with other team members and Traffic Tech personnel. This position is a great opportunity to further your career within the extensive logistics field.

LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
  1. Creating and maintaining Strong Vendor Relationships
  2. Negotiating with Shippers and Carriers
  3. Entering Data into System to create load sheets
  4. Shipment tracking – monitor pickup and delivery
  5. Preparing required shipping documentation
  6. Effective and professional communication with clients and carriers
  7. Minor Accounting Functions and data entry

What We Are Looking For:
Must have 3+ years of previous logistics/transportation experience, in a 3PL environment preferred
Must have Knowledge of Cross-border US/Mexico/Canada Transportation, OTR truckload, including dry van, flatbed, reefer, etc.
Strong organization and time management skills, must be able to prioritize
High School Diploma
Participate in continuous changes to Customer Data procedures and insure new changes are maintained
Problem resolution skills, detail-oriented, high level of multi-tasking skills are a must
Possess professional phone mannerisms
Outgoing personality; high energy; flexible
Great attitude and desire to work hard while having fun
