Join a leading IT Consulting firm known for delivering innovative solutions to a diverse range of clients. Our client is committed to excellence and is seeking a talented Oracle DBA to join their team on a 6-month contract, with the flexibility of a 100% remote role.
Your new role
As an Oracle DBA, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases to ensure their performance, availability, and security. You will work closely with development teams to optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices. Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle databases.
- Monitoring database performance and tuning.
- Implementing backup and recovery strategies.
- Ensuring data security and integrity.
- Collaborating with developers to optimize SQL queries and database design.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as an Oracle DBA, PL/SQL, SQL.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
