Job Description:


Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Supply Chain and Operations to oversee and manage our end-to-end supply chain processes. This role will be critical in ensuring the efficient procurement of ingredients, seamless collaboration with our third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and effective coordination with our manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:


Supply Chain Management:

○ Oversee the entire supply chain process from procurement to delivery.

○ Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

○ Monitor supply chain performance and implement improvements as needed.


Procurement:

○ Source and procure high-quality ingredients and materials required for our products.

○ Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.

○ Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.


Logistics:

○ Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely and efficient product distribution.

○ Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to meet business needs.

○ Oversee the logistics of new product launches and expansions.


Manufacturing:

○ Work closely with our manufacturing partners to ensure production schedules meet demand forecasts.

○ Monitor production quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

○ Collaborate with manufacturers to improve production processes and reduce costs.


Operations Management:

○ Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all supply chain and operations activities.

○ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain and operational performance.

○ Lead and mentor a team of supply chain and operations professionals.


Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

● Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or operations, preferably in the consumer products industry.

● Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.

● Proven experience in managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and manufacturing partners.

● Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
