Labourers are the MVP of the restoration teams. What you bring…

Labourers bring a host of abilities to their work, not the least being a ‘get it done’ attitude. Additional abilities required include:

  • Experience and desire to do physical work/ heavy lifting
  • Understanding and experience using hand and power tools
  • Interest in cross-training, helping team members, growing with the company
  • Critical thinking, curious nature, always want to know how things happen
  • Strong people, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to follow directions
  • A safety mindset
  • Valid driver’s licence and a clean criminal record (we do check)
  • Ability to communicate in English

Other stuff that’ll help you be successful but isn’t mandatory:

  • Experience in construction, home renovation, particularly demolition
  • WHMIS
  • First Aid

Of Note

Disasters can strike at any time, so a rotating schedule of 24/7 after-hours on-call work is a requirement.
